A Nut-Cracking Dust Devil of a Holiday Season!
| November News Wow, do I have a lot to tell you about in this newsletter! From new books to new holiday audiobooks to prize opportunities and 2022 calendar pictures to free stuff. This baby is packed full of fun!! But first the important stuff–we have more four-legged buddy news. Yay! We found a sister for the boy kitty we picked up while on the road this summer. We weren’t planning on adding to our cat family, but when we took Loki in to be neutered, there was a little girl kitty available for adoption and we fell in love with her while waiting for them to take Loki back for surgery. So, we took Artemis (aka “Arty”) home along with Loki, and they are best of pals now. This means I only need five more cats to fill up my heart … maybe six. Ha ha ha. Just kidding. (Or not.) In other news, our Christmas tree is up early this year and the cats have decided to make a tree house in it, so no glass ornaments for us. Our kids are knee deep in school and counting the days until they can sleep in until noon everyday instead of waking up at the butt-crack of dawn and dragging their sad sacks to school. We started taking Loki to school with us in the vehicle for drop-off and pick-up a couple of months ago and now he likes to ride along and watch out the window. We’re working on getting Artemis used to car rides, too. She prefers Loki to go along so she can sit on top of him during the trip to and from school. The nights are getting below freezing now here in the Arizona mountains. This means that spiders keep trying to come inside our house and become “pets” as well. Unfortunately, they are not received as well as cats, inciting shrieks of terror here and there. What’s new on the book front? Well, it’s Christmas time in Jackrabbit Junction, Arizona, and the Morgan sisters are at it again. I’m excited to share with you some fun new holiday craziness on the page! In the meantime, I’m working on planning the sixth book in the Jackrabbit series in between enjoying holiday fun and playing servant to our cats. Oh! I am working on setting up another online “live” book signing event that I will broadcast on my Facebook and YouTube pages. | Wrap Up Jackrabbit Junction Mystery Series … Next up, I plan to write THE RAMBUNCTIOUS TORTOISE TUSSLE (book 6) in the Jackrabbit series. Dig Site Series … I am planning to get to work on the 3rd Dig Site book into my schedule after I finish Jackrabbit Junction 6. I’m looking forward to heading back down to Mexico to see what’s happening in the jungle. Deadwood Undertaker Series … Sam Lucky and I are working on Book 4, THE BACKSIDE OF HADES. Life has slowed us up a little, but we’re still moving forward. Stay tuned for more release date information on this book.
