Sometimes you just need to laugh
January can be rough. After the festive music fades and the frosted cookies are history, all that is left is you, ten extra pounds, and the post holiday blues.
So, how do you get your mojo back? Do you make a list of resolutions and get to work on them? Take a vacation somewhere far away? Watch comedy movies? Read some of your favorite books? If you feel like hitting the reply button, go for it and let me know.
I’d like to tell you I get back to the business of writing eight hours a day like a good little author, but come on. We’re talking about me here. Sometimes I just have to find things to make me laugh. Tonight, that means funny cat and dog video compilations on YouTube. I’ll get back to hanging out with the Dig Site Mystery series crew down in the jungle tomorrow.
Oh, I’m thinking about doing an online book signing in February, but I’m not sure if you guys are into it. An online book signing involves me staring at you through the camera on my computer via YouTube and/or Facebook while answering questions coming in through the comments. All the while, I am autographing books to people who have purchased them through my online store during the week prior to the signing. Does that make sense? In the past, I have had alcohol during the process, but I have learned that it isn’t the best idea. 🙂
Onto this month’s lowdown …
I have some smiles in store for you this month:
Cops & Clobbers AUDIOBOOK is available for PRE-ORDER
Grab your copy of Nearly Departed in Deadwood (Collector’s Edition)
And … check out another recipe from Moon the Cook
Thanks for sharing some January mojo with me!
