It’s time for all of the good stuff November brings like pumpkin-everything and pre-Santa fun. Here at our house, Sam Lucky and I are working our buns off finishing the second book in the Deadwood Undertaker series while our kids are counting the days until their time off from school during the Thanksgiving holiday. The cats, meanwhile, are eating like pigs and taking turns sleeping on our keyboards, which I think is part of their protest plans to acquire even more food–preferably raw meat and milk instead of water.
I hope life is treating you well in your neck of the woods and not smacking you with a flyswatter when you’re not looking.
I’ve started doing some interviews on various podcast and radio stations this month over in the UK, and I plan to keep spreading further in the future to more US and non-US venues, so stay tuned and shout at me if you hear me coming through your speakers. Well, maybe only shout nice things because swearing might get you in trouble in the wrong place at the wrong time, and if you end up in the hoosegow I don’t want to be hauled in with you.
Onto this month’s newsletter. I have some fun tidbits to share with you, including:
* Info on how to vote for my 2020 Traveling with Ann calendar.
* The list of Deadwood Deputy promo team prize winners.
* Details on my book signing in SW Florida on December 28, 2019.
* Exciting updates about my 2020 Deadwood Fan Party.
* Audiobook status on Jackrabbit #5 and Deadwood #10.
* Great Ann Charles’ themed Zazzle gifts for the holidays.
It’s time to vote for your favorite photo for my 2020 Traveling with Ann calendar.
To check out the pictures taken during my 2019 travels near and far, go to my website blog. Chose ONE picture as your favorite in the comments section (type the picture number … you can click on the picture to see a larger version of it). Votes will be tallied on November 22, 2019. I’ll share which winning photos had the most votes the following week.
NOTE–If you’ve never commented on one of my blog posts, your comment will appear AFTER I approve it behind the scenes (I have to keep those crappity-crap spammers out).
In addition, I’ll do a random drawing from those who voted in the comments below and choose 10 lucky winners for an autographed desktop calendar! Be sure to check your email around the end of November to see if you receive a “Winner!” email from me.
Desk and wall calendars showcasing the winning photos will be available in early December from the Ann Charles store.
If you haven’t read The Wild Turkey Tango and are looking for a fun novella to enjoy this Thanksgiving, grab a copy and laugh along with the Morgan sisters during their wild Thanksgiving Day craziness.

You are magnificent!
