September Good News … NEW DEADWOOD BOOK
News from Ann’s Brain …
FINALLY! Violet has a new book out to fill you in on what’s been happening in her version of Deadwood. Sheesh, she sure took long enough to get this story to me. I was starting to think she’d run off to some Mexican beach with Doc and the kids and wasn’t coming back.
Thank you for your patience as I made it through a bumpy year without much writing. Real life kept butting its big nose into my fiction business. The writing machine is back up and running now–yay! Sam and I are hoping for no more breakdowns for a while, because we have a lot more fun stories to get on the page.
On the family front …
Sam is busy working outside now that the weather is cooling down (when he’s not at his desk writing). My son is in college and loving it a lot. My daughter is in high school and not loving it so much.
Our parents are still taking trips around the sun along with us, so that’s good.
We believe our four cats are staging a walkout since, in their opinions, we are reticent in giving them enough raw meat and treats.
For the time being, life is rolling along with minor bumps, but those bumps are what make it exciting, right? Well, that’s what I tell myself in the middle of the night when I can’t sleep.
As for me, I’m enjoying a quick break from my writing cave after spending several months spying on Violet and Doc and their Deadwood shenanigans. I’m excited for the upcoming fall holidays and ready to watch a bunch of scary movies when I’m not at the keyboard typing away on the next story.
